24 year old Motu is a current New Zealand International and has
featured in both Tri-Nation competitions in the past 2 years. The 2005
competition saw him pick up a winners medal after being part of the 17
man squad who beat the Australians in the final at Elland Road in
November. Motu had previously a short spell with Castleford Tigers in
2004 before injurt cut short his campaign. The former Brisbane Bronco
is incredibly quick on his feet, can play from full back, to stand off
to hooker and will be a valuable member of John Kear’s 2006 squad. His
recent Tri-Nations experience and success will be a huge asset to the
squad in their defence of the Powergen Challenge Cup.
