This weekend, The Big Screen is Tigertastic Wembley mad! On Saturday afternoon, join David Burns from 1pm live from Wembley as Hull City face Bristol in the Play offs. The Big Screen will keep the city centre in touch with the game, as the Tigers play at Wembley for the first time in their 104 year history.

Win or lose, join up to 25,000 Hull City fans for the players’ homecoming. The entertainment begins at the Big Screen from 2.30pm, and David Burns will be welcoming the players out onto the balcony. This will finish with a massive pyrotechnics display in the Square.

On Saturday night, there is a special karaoke version of the Eurovision song contest with the song lyrics displayed. There is also coverage of the PGA Golf and the French Open Tennis (all week), as well as England’s game against USA on Wednesday.

On Wednesday, there is holiday fun with Hull Active who are holding fun family fitness sessions, alongside free dental health checks as part of the Brush for Health event.

In the local film showcase, we are showing the entries from last year’s Look North Junior Reporter project and well as a fantastic multi-media installation featuring the Four Elements by Maria Silmon.

There’s the best in UK short films in our monthly showcase from Grimsby based Propeller TV. Plus BBC Radio One’s Dominic Byrne has Newsbeat’s top 10 weird videos of the week in Oddbox.
