Is it just me, or was Hull nightlife in the 1990's absolutley ace?

We had Planet Earth and that little bar at the side of it, Venue wasn't as decorated but it was loved for the mirrors that went ALL THE WAY around the dance floor - think it's different now!

A night out would almost always involve a trip to LA's, Luckys (that little bar next door), Circus Circus, and Q's before it was a gay bar. Don't even start me on the marina! Tropical Nights and its neon lights, fancy cocktails and laminate dance floor, Baltic Wharf, Green Bricks, Cocos, the list is endless!

Thoughts ppl? Do you miss 90's Hull nightlife?

Yer i can totally agree with u ther melissa..... town just isnt what it used to be ... maybe its cause i'm gettin older i dont know, but i used to be out every week and would never tire of it ....but i think the atmosphere has changed a bit.....and yerrrrr bring back the marina!!!! bank holidays were so much enjoyable on there.

Yeah I miss those days! When George Street and LAs used to be where the main crowds of people were lol now we're dotted all over!

I still like going out but I do hanker for the old days. ah sigh lol

was a bit too young to know it all but i used to get into ROOM on a wednesday to rock night (somehow when i was 13 and i LOOKED 13 too) the same night has been reopened as 'reborn' recently at attic but its no where near as good
