Hmm mine was pretty good but then again I went to a posh school so not too sure if my opinion counts? Lol x

My education in Hull was excellent, but that was 30 years ago! Having said that my daughter has just started at primary school and I've no complaints at the moment.

I was at school throughout the sixties and if I remember correctly it seemed ok. Getting the cane was an acceptable punishment and generally kids had a measure of respect for teachers. Even while I was there though you could see the downwards trend in attitudes to education. There were bad kids and good kids, just as there are today. I guess if you want to do well at school you can, it's all down to pupils not teachers. Well thats my theory anyway.
