CEO ENCOURAGES FANS TO EXPERIENCE MILLENNIUM MAGIC |
|
Following the nail biting finish to the first Hull derby at
Craven Park this season, Hull Kingston Rovers Chief Executive Paul
Lakin is urging fans to purchase tickets as soon as possible for the
Millennium Magic weekend as the Robins take on the Black and Whites of
the city in Cardiff in less than three weeks time.
Hull KR’s 11-10 victory over the Easter period earlier this season
at Craven Park Stadium was played in front of a 9,284 record crowd with
tickets selling out within weeks.
However, fans thirsty for another clash between the two sides only have
to wait until Sunday 4 May for the next derby, when Round 13 of engage
Super League moves to Cardiff for Millennium Magic.
CEO Paul Lakin added: “I thought the boys played really well in
terrible weather conditions on Good Friday, and the fans were a great
inspiration to them. It was fantastic to record the clubs record crowd
at the new Craven Park Stadium playing a Hull derby.”
He went on to say: “When purchasing tickets directly from the official
club shops fans will be helping the club commercially and it is of
great benefit for us to encourage fans to buy from us as soon as
possible.”
Tickets for Millennium Magic are still available and concessionary day tickets start from £5 or £10 for the full weekend.
As well as the Hull derby on the Sunday, rugby fans can also see two
other games in the form of Catalans Dragons V Harlequins RL and St
Helens V Wigan Warriors.
Fans staying the full weekend can see three more derby games on the
Saturday. In the first game Huddersfield Giants take on Warrington
Wolves, Castleford Tigers meet Wakefield Wildcats, and the final
encounter will see Bradford Bulls try to beat their old rival Leeds
Rhinos.
Tickets are available from the club shops 269 Holderness Road and Craven Park Stadium.
