HULL KR AWARDED GRADE C LICENCE |
|
Delighted at the news that the RFL awarded Hull Kingston
Rovers a 3 year licence, the club can now confirm they have received
notification of being awarded a C grade licence.
Hull Kingston Rovers Vice Chairman Rob Crossland commented: “We have
been graded a C and that is exactly what we expected from a low start
base. Achieving anything other than a C was impossibility for a club
only in its second year of Super League. We have a fantastic plan in
place to grow and develop as a club, its exciting times for the club
and the fans.”
The RFL board’s summary of the application stated:
“This is the club’s second year in Super League and it is showing
strong potential. The club has invested significantly in improving its
facilities, much of which is behind the scenes. Further significant
developments are planned.
This commendable investment has required, and will continue to require, strong financial management.
The club’s commercial plan is well thought through and logical and its community work is achieving results.
The assessment of the club’s player performance strategy would have
been enhanced by the submission of further evidence, particularly with
Academy Reserves but there is a growing infrastructure since promotion
to Super League.”
