Hull Kingston Rovers can confirm that 24-year-old Wigan
Warriors' winger Liam Colbon will be joining the Red and Whites next
year, signing a two year contract.

The former Orrell St James and Hindley ARLFC player is a graduate of
Wigan’s academy set-up and made his first competitive team debut for
the Warriors against Widnes Viking in Super League IX, stamping his
authority on the game.
Colbon boasts strong defence, confidence under the high ball and potent
attacking ability, his potential to be an impact player was underlined
as he secured his first team spot under Noble in 2007.
Liam commented: “It’s great to be facing a new challenge next season
and I have been impressed with what Justin has had to say about Hull
Kingston Rovers. It’s exciting for me as a player to join such a
progressive club and help them to succeed in their bid for silverware.”
Head Coach Justin Morgan said: “2008 has proved to be a big year for
Liam; he has established a regular starting position in the first team
and has gained invaluable experience. He is a player with tremendous
maturity and is always a consistent performer for Wigan, demonstrating
complete commitment for the cause.”
