|
Former Hull KR junior Ryan Esders has today signed a one
year deal, returning back to the Robins after a spell at National
League 2 side York City Knights.
...Ryan is a very ambitious individual that has matured as a player during his time at York... Head Coach Justin Morgan
The 21-year-old West Hull and Hull Dockers amateur player left the
Robins in 2006 and settled into playing regular first team rugby league
for the York City Knights, building a solid reputation as a hard
hitting second rower and pacey quick thinking centre, and was handed
the 2007 York City Knights Younger player of the Year accolade.
Esders has been ever present for the Knights since joining them playing
in every first team game for the Knights in 2007, and determination to
better himself as a player has always been Esders main focus since
leaving Hull KR, he has been working hard on his game, with returning
to Rovers always at the back of his mind.
“Being a Hull lad I have always wanted to play for Rovers. I am very
grateful for this fantastic opportunity. I can’t wait to join the top
side that has been brought together by Justin and his staff.” Esders
commented.
Hull Kingston Rovers Head Coach Justin Morgan said; “Ryan is a very
ambitious individual that has matured as a player during his time at
York. He will bring to the side sheer determination to do well and
succeed.”
