Kirk had another great season for the club in 2005. He scored 17 tries
during the campaign and picked up one man of the match award against
Wigan Warriors where he scored two tries in the famous 28-24 win at the
JJB Stadium. Kirk’s final few weeks in the season were over shadowed by
his 2 match ban for a dangerous tackle against Bradford Bulls, but he
came back to score in one of the most memorable Play off games ever
against Warrington Wolves. Kirk is about to become a dad for the first
time in March 2006.
