Hull Kingston Rovers travelled to London aware of the task that lay
ahead at The Stoop. A tough team to face on their own turf, the Quins
were on the attack from the start of the game and ran Hull KR a riot in
the opening 40minutes.
The Robins were certainly on the back-foot during the first half of
the game, a mixture of errors and intense pressure from Harlequins
stopped the visitors from taking hold of the game in the early stages.
The first half consisted of neat play and clever thinking from the
London side; they closed down on the Robins attack and camped on their
line to defend repeat sets.
